Providing an 8th grade basketball team with the necessary equipment and experiences is an extremely costly endeavor. Gym rentals cost upwards of $25 an hour, while tournaments can be $300 per weekend.

Dark Horse Basketball strives to give its players the most positive, memorable, and useful experience possible. A small donation can go a long way, and will positively affect the basketball experience of our team.

Sample costs:

  • Practice Time: $25/hour x 2 hours per practice x 4 practices per week x 16 weeks = $3,200
  • Uniforms: $60/player x 11 players = $660
  • Tournaments: $300/tournament x 4 tournaments = $1,200
  • AAU Membership, warm ups, basketballs, travel, scorebooks, etc.
